The new Legal Ombudsman, Mr Adam Sampson, was interviewed by Marc Beaumont before an interactive PABA audience on 24th March 2011. Mr Sampson outlined the new scheme and listened carefully to the Bar's concerns, making a very good impression.

Public Access work in criminal, family and immigration cases:
The Chairman of the Bar elect, Peter Lodder QC, the Chair of the Access to the Bar Committee, the the Chair of the YBC, a senior immigration practitioner and a senior clerk engaged in a question and answer session, moderated by Marc Beaumont. It was standing room only as Barristers queued down 5 flights of stairs to attend this hugely well-attended event, as the Bar's eyes were opened to new ways of practising.
